They have a nice, balanced, look to them. The middle two are very plain, but if you want the yarn to do the work, then either of those will do. My second choice would be the broken cabled ones. I know it’s kind of hard to do it without seeing the colors but how about we talk about sock patterns.  What do you have in mind?  Here are some I have in mind as well as anything really out of the book Sensational Knitted Socks. If you do not have that book I highly recommend it.
