Finally…. a Knitting Post!
Say “Hi” to Ruffles. She going to be purple, pretty and match my lavender Odessa. Since I can’t start on Odessa until the opening ceremonies I wanted to do something fun and easy. You hear that? Easy! I’m also curious who has made this? Did you enjoy it? Dish.

Finally, since it seems like every single knitty friend of mine online has a cat, I wanted to post a picture of our sweet baby Chulo. He’s the one that adopted us last fall. He literally walked up to T. outside and asked if he could live with us. He’s the best dog ever. He’s great with kids and puts up with their constant
torture attention and is my most favorite running partner. I mean really. How cute is he?

I am now going to veg out and see how far I can get on Ruffles.

You know I love that Chulo baby!!!
Pretty yarn for ruffles!
There’s the thing about cats - they’re crap to exercise with.
Aww, what a sweet pup! Sometimes I miss having a dog, but then I think about how angry my cats would be if we got one. Someday.
Ruffles looks really cool! I’ve been eyeing a sample one in my LYS but haven’t gotten to it yet. One of these days I may have to give it a go!
It’s just fine now! Chulo is handsome, too!
You’ll definitely be comfortable with short rows by the time you are done with ruffles (if you aren’t already). I’ll admit - I got bored with mine and wound up frogging the whole thing.
I really want a dog - it would force me out to walk everyday. All the cats want me to do is curl up in the chair so they can sit on me.
I am making something very much like Ruffles as my office project.
office project = knitting hidden in a desk drawer at work, taken out in times of stress or boredom and behind closed doors of course.
I love my Ruffles - I made it out of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran (on sale baby) as it’s a titch colder here in Denver. It’s bigger and the ruffles are more tightly wound than in the photo. Every time I wear it out in chichi Cherry Creek I get asked where I bought it
I enjoyed making it although it did get brain-numbingly boring at the end.
I love that scarf, I’ve been wanting a ruffley one. How hard is it? I just barely learned how to Purl a few weeks ago, but I seem to be doing ok with it.
Doggy is adorable. He does have a little bit of a Chessie look too his face. How big is he?
Such a pretty, deep color! I love it.
I also love Odessa! How did I miss that pattern? Thanks for pointing it out. Grumperina does it again!
I love the puppy picture! What a cute little face
