Reading is BAD!
The only thing this has to do with knitting is that the meal I cooked tonight took time away from my Ruffles. I go to the library once a week and get a huge bag filled with books for my kids. I am a 3rd generation English teacher and reading is just in my blood. My kids love books too. Around 5:00pm tonight I decided to ask the kids what they wanted for dinner. Boy Wonder said, “Bee-bim BOP!”

I vaguely remembered reading the story to them and agreed to make it before really reading the recipe. Holy crap. Take my advice. Do not start making a fairly elaborate Korean dish at 6:00pm at night. Okay? Also? Reading is BAD! See what kinds of ideas you kids can get from books? I will admit is was amazingly tasty. We all loved it.
However, the moral of the story is, don’t read to your kids if you want to lose valuable knitting time. Now that it’s 8:20pm I can finally knit a few rows.
