Day 2

I got a few rows completed at work yesterday and thought I’d share a clearer picture of sweet Odessa.

Odessa

You can also see how my beads alternate in color. I like how it looks and it’s fun to watch the pattern emerge. I’m definitely digging on this pattern and know there are more of these in my knitting future.

Today I plan on getting a lot of this completed. In fact, I’m pretty used to being able to knit a hat in a day so we’ll see what I can accomplish by the end of Grey’s Anatomy tonight. Code BLACK! Watch out!

I’m off for some much needed breakfast with T., sans kids. They are out with their Nana. Huevos Rancheros anyone?

I think it’s awesome that you work at a yarn store! (read last post) That’s pretty much my dream job at this point lol. The hat is looking good and I love the beads.

Breakfast sounds awesome! And I don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy but I did see that commercial. What’s a code black anyway?

Odessa looks so pretty. Guess who’s DVR inexplicably didn’t record Grey’s Anatomy last weekend? GRRR. So I missed out on the first half of Code Black. I hope tonight’s show gives me enough of that “previously on Grey’s Anatomy” stuff to catch me up.

Woo-hoo! I am not the only one who is using beads from some jewelry. For a Christmas present, my cousin’s family gave me a couple of beaded elastic bracelets (tells you what they think of me, huh?) from OverstockDOTcom. And the hat is looking great so far!

Wow, Odessa’s looking great! I bet my sister would like that… hmm……

Can’t wait for Grey’s Anatomy! I never even watched it before last week, but I think I might be hooked!

Ooh, and for anyone who missed it, there’s a snarky re-cap of the episode at Television Without Pity
