Scalpel STAT!

surgery

Doesn’t it look like I’m about to perform some sort of surgery? Some of you may not know this about me but when I decide to do something? I do it. Right away. Remember that Scout=impatient-girl. I picked up these Jacquard Acid Dyes from the shop.

colors

Aren’t you totally shocked by the colors I chose? They are so different than my usual choices. /sarcasm I’m hoping Supergirl goes to take a nap soon and Carole can come over so we can try this out.The other thing I’m curious about is where you get your sock yarn? Other than Knit Picks who sells good sock yarn? I’m thinking it might actually be a cool thing to dye my own yarn for my Sockapalooza Pal. I’m now going to check out the links left earlier. Thanks to those that offered advice. Wish us luck! We’ll letcha know how it goes.

Oh wait! Chris? This picture is for you. She wore them out in your honor.

Dude, I love the “bag o’ gloves.” Pretty colors! According to Eunny, you can dye Baby Ull, with the added bonus of it being superwash.

Great colors, and the socks are so cute. I’ve heard that the Knitpicks Dye Your Own Sock Yarn tends to felt easily, but I don’t know that firsthand.

Have fun with the dyeing! The only yarn I’ve dyed is for my color studies, but I want to do some self-striping sock yarn one of these days too. :)
