No Need For Words……

The only thing I’ll say is that these are not the greatest pictures because I had to take it with my camera phone. I didn’t want to even leave work today. I just wanted to stare at it. Within an hour of taking it out of the boxes we sold almost 40 skeins. It’s been 9 months since this order was placed.

Koigu

So good you can almost taste it….I’m going to dream about Koigu.

Please send me everything you have in purple. And red, and blue, and… well, anything but orange.

“Evil” doesn’t even begin to cover it. ;) The stores around here have given up trying to stock it as there seems to be a 9-12 month lag in orders. I have to laugh when I go into one of the stores because they’re still trying to sell two fugly skeins that have been lying in the bin for a year now. I feel so bad for those skeins that I’m always tempted to buy them, but it’s like they have cooties now or something …

feeling. I’m truthin’ you. I’ll be in soon. Eff the yarn diet. I can burn up yarn some other day, right?

ok. you had me at your last post, and i was really trying to refrain from checking back in on you.
but then you did it. you posted those pics. and now i need some. bad.
i may have come up with a solution that will save me from permanent koigu addiction, or at least keep me at a tough distance from it. and this solution will benefit the faboo village wools.
how’s about i send you some moolah and let you pick out some for me? can you do that?
i’ll hook you up with a personal shopper’s fee!!!!!! (i don’t think i could fly to new mexico and back during the duo’s nap and after those pictures, it’s a no brainer that i buy from you or live koigu-free forever.)

Oh. My. Gosh. I want some now! Does the shop do mailorder? :-)

    Oh. Sweet. Yarny. Goodness.

    Hommina hommina hommina hommina!

I’m just sitting here going, “I want the orange one, and the purple one, and the blue one in the back, and the greeny one on the side, and the other purple one, and the gem-tones on the side, and… and… annnddd……..”

Caz came in, saw the look of naked yearning on my face and said, “So… when your birthday rolls around, I should buy you Koigu?” and I’m all, “Only if you want to be revered by knitters the world over….”

If you guys /do/ do mail order? Don’t tell me. For the love of Mike, Don’t. Tell. Me. Must feed children… must feed children… must feed children…

I wonder if my husband would consider Koigu a justifiable reason to go to New Mexico. Hmmm… ;-) I would like 2 skeins each of all of the blue, purple and green ones.

Lordy, lordy. I’m on the next plane to Albuquerque! I wish……but that is some mighty fine Koigu! Oh, I think I feel some chest pains coming on. No, that was just a little gas. I gulped a bit too much air after looking at all those bags!……………………….I’ve got to go lay down.

The urge to caress my monitor was only appeased by my kitty. After several minutes
of rigorous petting she had enough and darted to a solitary corner to wash herself and
recompose her dignity. She succeeded whereas I’m still drooling. This is truely beaut-
    iful yarn.

Oh. My god. I just puked from the excitement. How can you possibly work there? I would definitely come home with zero — no, negative — wages. Did you want to roll around in all the Koigu? :) heh heh

Thank g-d I bought my first Koigu yesterday for my birthday… Otherwise… This post would be utterly painful.

    Who am I kidding?

It’s painful to look at that!

What’s that Koigu at the very top center of the top picture? It looks teal. It needs to be mine.

Gaaaaaaaaahhhhh…I am dying looking at all that koigu-ey goodness. Mom tried to get some last week and the shops she visited told her there’s a 1.5 YEAR wait. Hah! She wants to make baby #2 the same blanket as baby #1 but the kid will be a year old by the time the yarn is even available! Maybe we can order it from you?
