The only thing I’ll say is that these are not the greatest pictures because I had to take it with my camera phone. I didn’t want to even leave work today. I just wanted to stare at it. Within an hour of taking it out of the boxes we sold almost 40 skeins. It’s been 9 months since this order was placed.
So good you can almost taste it….I’m going to dream about Koigu.

Please send me everything you have in purple. And red, and blue, and… well, anything but orange.
Holy crizzap!!! *drool* Tell me, did you take turns frolicking in it?
“Evil” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
The stores around here have given up trying to stock it as there seems to be a 9-12 month lag in orders. I have to laugh when I go into one of the stores because they’re still trying to sell two fugly skeins that have been lying in the bin for a year now. I feel so bad for those skeins that I’m always tempted to buy them, but it’s like they have cooties now or something …
Please tell me you rolled around in it!! I would have.
Good lord that is the motherlode!!
Damn…I need to go to Albuquerque!!
I think I would have tried to dive in it and play like a little child in
fall leaf piles. YUM!
Oh my goodness… I would have fainted dead away at the sheer loveliness.
breathe…. breathe….. must ……not……hyper….ventilate……
a knitter could definitely take a bath in that! any chance any of it is KPM?
I literally lost my breath at the glory of it all!
Wow. Hee hee - too bad you didn’t have that picture Saturday, so you could claim for April Fool’s that it was your stash!!
yowza! what’s not to love?
Those pictures made me tear up a little. My stomach got that clutchy “can life be so good”
feeling. I’m truthin’ you. I’ll be in soon. Eff the yarn diet. I can burn up yarn some other day, right?
That has to be the most MASSIVE amount of Koigu I’ve ever seen. How could you bear to leave work at the end of the day?
WOW! Looks like it was a fun day at work!!
so how many skeins did you buy, I’ll have to go there this week and check it out.
I’m feeling a little faint. Oh my.
ok. you had me at your last post, and i was really trying to refrain from checking back in on you.
but then you did it. you posted those pics. and now i need some. bad.
i may have come up with a solution that will save me from permanent koigu addiction, or at least keep me at a tough distance from it. and this solution will benefit the faboo village wools.
how’s about i send you some moolah and let you pick out some for me? can you do that?
i’ll hook you up with a personal shopper’s fee!!!!!! (i don’t think i could fly to new mexico and back during the duo’s nap and after those pictures, it’s a no brainer that i buy from you or live koigu-free forever.)
Oh. My. Gosh. I want some now! Does the shop do mailorder?
Oh. Sweet. Yarny. Goodness.
Hommina hommina hommina hommina!
I’m just sitting here going, “I want the orange one, and the purple one, and the blue one in the back, and the greeny one on the side, and the other purple one, and the gem-tones on the side, and… and… annnddd……..”
Caz came in, saw the look of naked yearning on my face and said, “So… when your birthday rolls around, I should buy you Koigu?” and I’m all, “Only if you want to be revered by knitters the world over….”
If you guys /do/ do mail order? Don’t tell me. For the love of Mike, Don’t. Tell. Me. Must feed children… must feed children… must feed children…
woooweeee *drools*
Save me some!
I wonder if my husband would consider Koigu a justifiable reason to go to New Mexico. Hmmm…
I would like 2 skeins each of all of the blue, purple and green ones.
Lordy, lordy. I’m on the next plane to Albuquerque! I wish……but that is some mighty fine Koigu! Oh, I think I feel some chest pains coming on. No, that was just a little gas. I gulped a bit too much air after looking at all those bags!……………………….I’ve got to go lay down.
Wow. You have the *dream* job! All that yarn to look at…and touch!!
The urge to caress my monitor was only appeased by my kitty. After several minutes
of rigorous petting she had enough and darted to a solitary corner to wash herself and
recompose her dignity. She succeeded whereas I’m still drooling. This is truely beaut-
iful yarn.
Oh. My god. I just puked from the excitement. How can you possibly work there? I would definitely come home with zero — no, negative — wages. Did you want to roll around in all the Koigu?
heh heh
I’ve never seen so much Kogiu in one place. It looks like heaven!
*heart palpitations!*
I think I just had my first Koigasm.
Thank g-d I bought my first Koigu yesterday for my birthday… Otherwise… This post would be utterly painful.
Who am I kidding?
It’s painful to look at that!
What’s that Koigu at the very top center of the top picture? It looks teal. It needs to be mine.
Damn it. I have been trying to stay out of the store!
Wowser! Yarn porn is right! Did you roll around in it?
Gaaaaaaaaahhhhh…I am dying looking at all that koigu-ey goodness. Mom tried to get some last week and the shops she visited told her there’s a 1.5 YEAR wait. Hah! She wants to make baby #2 the same blanket as baby #1 but the kid will be a year old by the time the yarn is even available! Maybe we can order it from you?
How the hell did you resist diving into that and rolling around ? Waitaminute…you probably did…when no one was looking…come on, fess up ;o)
That may cause some of us to have a KOIGASM!!!!!
OMG … after all the FYS photos it’s not that hard to imagine that being someone’s stash photo. Imagine, sweater quantities of Koigu in a bunch of different colorways…
tell us the truth… did you all take turns rolling around in it? i would not have left work either, if that’s what i’m gonna be surrounded by…
oops… surrounded by such purty purty yarn.
oh so jealous!
Holy Koigu-moley!
mmmm…. that looks amazing!
