I got mail love today and it made me cry. Jen of Knit! Mama Knit! Sent me the most beautiful piece of pottery that she made. I won’t go into the details of the note but basically this was a piece that was in a gallery and never sold because she believes it was meant for me. I can’t even describe the color of purple it is. It’s just amazing. I just finished reading this book called The Same Sweet Girls and if you’ve read it, you know why this had such an impact on me today. Thank you so much J. Really.

Bowl

I also took the opportunity to show you two of my most recent wins placed in my new, pretty bowl. The Azurite is what I won from the Jaywalker contest. The Lapis was won on Jessalu’s Blog. I feel the Socks That Rock love! And Carole? Yes you’re my best friend. But no way am I just giving you some of this yarn. No way in hell! It’s allllllllll mine!

That bowl is lovely. Haven’t read the book, but love the bowl anyway. Even more with the STR in it. I gotta get me some of that stuff. (Yes, I am the same person who was bitching elsewhere earlier today about having too many random boxes of yarn. Shut up.)

Beautiful Pottery and beautiful yarn! I am jealous, espically since you can also DYE beautiful yarn. I’m thinking of signing up for the dye-a-rama, but I know my yarn won’t be as pretty. Still, me and my kool-aid are going to try!

The bowl is really gorgeous. How could it not sell? That would make a fantastic yarn bowl to hold your current project.

I don’t know which color I like the best. Looks like you have great karma, what with winning all these competitions.

Love the bowl, it’s beautiful. Jessalu sent me some STR yarn in a color called “Fire
on the Mountain” for the contest too and now I’m addicted to it. As a result I
placed a big order with Blue Moon Fiber Arts and decided to share the wealth
(another contest). Anyway, Happy knitting with your beautiful new yarn. Can’t wait
    for Dye-O-Rama!
