Albuquerque Style. These are pictures of all the greenery around my house from this morning. (Sorry to all of you rainy people for showing you that blue stuff in the sky.) The only thing that isn’t mine is the palm yucca which lives across the street. I actually don’t like palm yuccas because they freak me out. I think they are one of the weirdest plants. I wish I had taken a picture of this one about a month ago when it had its alien-like white pods coming out of the top. However, they are kinda cool looking I guess. I’ll stick with the rosemary plants in my front yard though. Here is my May, Project Spectrum Collage.

Did you know that dogs like cilantro? Or is that just New Mexico dogs? I planted some last weekend and naughty Chulo ate the whole friggin’ thing! He went nuts for it. Dang dog. Andyone else have a cilantro-eating dog? See? Look at him. He’s laughing at me.

Your diggie has good culinary taste!
You know I love fresh rosemary, right?
You know it’s my most FAVORITE of all, right?
Good, just checking.
What a cute doggie! Look at that gleam in the eye. Trouble, him.
hehehe love the pic of Chulo he’s too cute!
Chulo! What a handsome pup!! Great pic.
Chulo is very cute. I am pleased to report that it is not raining here at the moment.
The sun is shining here today :op
And I don’t know about the cilantro thing - my herb garden is out of reach for my doggie…
Great greenery pics. Just think how fresh his breath is now.
Is that a tomato plant? Tomatoes, basil and rosemary…good times, good times.
I hate cilantro. Chulo can eat all that he wants. I hate that it’s used to garnish everything out here (I swear to Bob, I’ve gotten a caesar salad with cilantro on it), and it just tastes nasty to me so I’m picking it off, cranky, or both. BLAH.
hah ha… the expression of your dog is so cute. beautiful garden. i love the basil leaves.
I don’t have a cilantro-eating dog, but I do have a Stevia-eating cat! Stevia is that herb that is supposedly 30-times sweeter than sugar, and therefore a good substitute. My cat goes nuts for it. If I’ve been outside working in the garden and come back in the house, she expects me to bring her a leaf or two, or she whines at me.
i have a dog that ate a rhubarb plant, and i’m not just talking about the leaves… root and all. this is also the dog that ‘helps’ me around the garden, when i’m digging she’s digging, when i’m pulling up weeds she’s pulling up whatever she can get her teethies on :]
omg, you need to frame that Chulo picture. It’s awesome!
Naughty Chulo! Great pictures- it’s been raining here for over a week, so I needed it!
Every time I come to your blog, I miss NM… and seeing the lovely green plants native to the region makes it even worse! I HAVE to get out there - maybe next year.
My dogs don’t discriminate - they have been known to eat all of our herbs - including cilantro
