Zutano

This is for my DYE-O-RAMA pal who loves autumn colors. She said she likes browns, oranges, yellows and greens. Rockstar - Kate helped me with the name of this colorway and it’s perfect. This is a Zutano avocado.

And here is my Zutano. I think my dye-pal will like it. Don’t you?

Zutano

I don’t normally dye with these colors but I think they are really pretty together. Thanks Mona for letting me play with them. Would this be something you would like to see in the Etsy shop?

If you promise not to tell anyone I was buying yarn, then the answer would be an emphatic YES! These colors are GORGEOUS together and I bet they will knit up into something equally stunning

WOW, that looks fabulous. I love it so much.
One of my favorite parts of seeing the new yarn is seeing what you come up with for names.
    Very nice.

I LOVE the avacado! I wanna be your dye-o-rama partner so these can be turned into
sock guac! Don’t get me wrong, I love the bright and happy colors, but the browns,
greens, etc. are such a nice change because everybody seems to be dyeing in blues
and purples, etc. I’m rambling, too much coffee. Cheers.

Love it! Love it! Love it! It came in the mail today, just like you said in your email. So beautiful. I can’t wait to knit it up, but I think I just need to stare at it a bit longer first, O.K? More comments on the group site post and in response to your email. Thank you so much. I feel so lucky to be your dyeorama pal. Heck. Everyone else is doing a great job of dyeing their yarn. I think we’ll ALL be so lucky! Thanks again. And the gummy bears are chillin’ in the fridge after a stint in the mailbox on this sunny day.

[...] My yarn arrived last week, my swap pal being none other than Scout J herself.  Thanks so much!  So nice to have yarn dyed especially for me!  There are pictures below on this site, on her blog and on mine, too.  The acid dyes I ordered from ProChemical for my own dyeing came the very same day.  I was torn.  Do I cast on the yarn I just received, or do I dive in and start dyeing?  I decided to cast on so that I’d have time to think about how I’d go about the dyeing while knitting.  [...]
