See these cute flip flops?

This cool little dude?

Made them in his new elective at camp. Princess Class. Yep. He and his two buddies decided to boycott and told the counselors that they didn’t think it was fair that only girls could take the Princess Class. So they made those yesterday. I think it’s because he’s smart enough to realize that all the cute girls are in that class. Pretty damn funny. I keep thinking today, “I’m so glad I’m busting my ass selling yarn for him to go to camp and be in PRINCESS CLASS!” Actually I think it’s cool that he could care less what anyone thinks and that he’s secure enough to do something like that. And that he’d stand up for something he didn’t think was fair. Most 7 year old boys would run from something like that. Oh wait, he just told me, “I think we’re making tutus tomorrow.” I told him that he had better make it for his sister!!! Jaysum crowbaits. Maybe I’ll tell the teacher that the boys should make some cool crowns and be cool Hip Hop Princes.
***Okay. He just took all the fabric off and just wants the regular flip-flops. He cracks me up.***

Go Superboy GO!!!
That’s totally awesome actually - whatever his reasons for doing it, the fact is he stuck to it. And the flip flops? Rockin’!!
That’s awesome! I hope he has a blast in Princess Class.
Can you imagine what a great dad/uncle he’ll make one day? “You need help with your costume? No problem! Let’s see what I can remember from Princess Class!”
Way to be the Next Generation, Superboy. Go you!
That is one smart kiddo you have there, Scout. I can hardly wait to see the tutu!
Superboy, and his two buddies, rock! Those tutus will be interesting. I wonder if they have camo colored netting in Princess Class?
What a hoot! And what a great flip-flops!
Haaaa! I forgot to tell you he & S were riding their bikes around singing “I’m a Barbie girl, in a Barbie World… Fantastic! Fantastic! Totally fantastic! ” repeatedly the other day.
What Carole said, bwahahahaha!
How cool!
And a great head start for what girlies are like in their teens. o.0
I do think you have rockin kids! Way to go superboy!!
JWW
Jaysum crowbaits. You’re giving away your Vermont past.
When my boys were 5 and 6 they wanted to put nail polish on, so I got them some purple, black, and green. Who cares? Some how I doubt that they will be wearing it to their prom. Actually it hasn’t come out since those two weeks about 3 years ago
That’s awesome! I just love that independent streak in little kids. My 7 year old daughter insisted on Batman sheets and a Spiderman sleeping bag to take to Girl Scout sleep away camp. Superboy is one handsome guy!
Hilarious! My eleven year old was just like that when he was seven! Truthfully, I kinda miss those days! He’s such a boy boy now!
That is totally cracking me up! Rock the system Superboy!
The flip flops are cute. Maybe he should get his own etsy shop!
Now *that’s* how your raise a boy. Nice job, Scout.
Good for SuperBoy! Nice job Scout…Raising the next generation of man! Make sure he knows we’re all proud of him!
I love that independent nature. It can be a pain when they’re toddlers, but then when
they’re older, you know that they’ll have the guts to do what they think is right, no matter
what anyone else says.
Stand up for yourself..that’s the ticket! You’ve taught him well.
haha! That rocks! Since I don’t have a boy, I do actually see Ellie doing something
like that in reverse, but how come we don’t give girls a hard time about doing ‘boy’ thing?
Those boys rock!!
Superboy rocks. The flip flops look great, can’t wait to see
the tutu. Just goes to show what a super MOM you are,
That is too cool! Superboy does rock!
Poking my head out from all the diapers and naps… I’d be so proud of Superboy if I were you! It’s so cool that he and his friend are already wise enough to make a choice like that. What the hell is Princess Class, anyway!?!?! Sheesh!
Heh heh.
