Saturday Balloons

We live directly east of the Balloon Fiesta Park so we get to just walk out our back door and watch them take off. This is what it looks like during Balloon Fiesta. We never even have to go anywhere to watch them. Just grab some coffee and look east. We can’t complain. The Sandias are the view we have when we turn the other way. This morning there were actually quite a few that took off but this was the only one I was able to capture.

    neat! I just wanted to let ya know…it appears there are two in this photo…one over to the right and lower, as well. :) just thought you might have missed it!! If not, ignore me…lol.

    Wow - that shot of all of them is amazing! Makes me really want to come now for Taos and stay for the festival. Hope T is feeling better!

    I love the pictures you post. I haven’t lived in or been to ABQ in 15 years but I miss the West (particularly during VT winters). I lived much closer to the mesa (judging from your pics) and went to Valley High (a million years [or 15] years ago.

    The balloons look great. Glad hubby’s surgery went well and he is recovering quickly.
