Things Happen in Threes?

T. broke his bike last week (a 3,000.00+ bike) - $500.00 deductable

T. brought his car in today to see what the horrible noise was - $750.00 for new brakes and other things that were broken.

My laptop just completely crashed, as in will turn on but won’t even go to a regular screen - $65.00 at least for the diagnostic testing….not to mention being without my laptop for maude knows how long.

I’m sitting here totally exhausted, almost in tears and typing on the ancient home computer. I just want you to know what’s up if you try to get in touch with me and I don’t get right back to you. I have no idea how long I’ll be without my laptop. It makes me sick to think about losing everything on that too. Thankfully, I started to use Gmail a few months ago so I won’t lose e-mail stuff.

Please send some patience and sleep so I keep from injuring the little and big people around me.

Oh wait! Even better. I just accidentally hit something that cleared out my whole Bloglines updated feeds notification thingamajiggy. Fantastic. So, if something really important happened today in your life and you posted about it? Will you come here and tell me about it since I won’t know? This is so much fun. Going to drop off the computer before something else happens….

I think the saying is *bad things happen in threes*…it looks like your situation just proved it. So sorry to hear about it. They also say *it’s always darkest before the light.* Does that help?

Oh, honey, I’m so sorry. How about a large drinkie? Maybe huggle the doggie? I have found that screaming in the car is very helpful. It also keeps the nosey parkers away. ;^)

I’m feeling better. Worrying about you now.

At least, everyone is healthy and safe. Btw, have you ever thought of just keeping T at home? Seems to cost money every time that man leaves home. ;^)

    *hugs*

well, let’s hope the run of bad luck is over!
try unplugging everything from your lap top, (modem, or whatnot) and then unplugging it from the power. hold down the power button for 20 full seconds, plugging it ~ just to power~ and try turning it on and see what happens.

Thank goodness you still have your knitting and your dye-ing. It’s time to do a little of both, one for your sanity and the other for your brakes/laptop/etc. *hug*

Even if the laptop is mostly fried, they may still be able to nab the data on the hard drive - don’t give up hope yet.
Oh, and if you want to feel a little bit better about the whole situation, come on by my blog and read all about
how my minivan was creamed while parked in front of my house last week.
