And They’re Off….

Well some of them at least. I think I got out about 13 of the 28 skeins of Soctoberfest that were placed. I know a lot of you want some and I promise I will let you know when I’m taking more orders. See, I am also getting a out a big order for a new art gallery that is about to open up in MN. If anyone lves near Waite Park you need to go check it out. It’s called Rogues Gallery. I’ve been approached by a number of stores who want my yarn but I’m just too busy to do it right now. I did agree to do this becuase I thought it was pretty cool to be asked by an art gallery to sell my yarn. (And I hadn’t come up with the crazy Indie Swag Club yet either…..) I have over 100+ skeins of yarn to dye this month so yeah, a wee bit busy with the Indie Swag Club, Soctoberfest and this art gallery. Speaking of the Indie Swag Club I’m hoping to get that mailed out in about 2-4 days. (a week before I thought) It’s all dyed, tagged and the Swag that goes with it is here and is super cool.

Another project I’ve been working on is getting the most accurate colors in the pictures of my yarn. Dave is always helpful and got me hooked up with a new toy that I made. I’m really digging the pictures I can take with it.

I love how this recycled sari looks.

It’s from Blonde Chicken Boutique and I can’t wait to knit with it.

I’m hoping that either later today or tomorrow

I can announce my big, exciting news so stay tuned.

How cool! Waite Park is a bit of a hike (70-some miles), but there’s gotta be something else up there to do too. Might have to talk the hubby into it.

Love the sari silk! I always love seeing the yarn that Pippi makes with it, but I haven’t seen anyone else’s so far.

Can’t wait for the Indie Club stuff - I *am* in the first round, right?

I have to tell you, I checked out Rogue’s website and it looks awesome. The store is actually in St. Cloud, home of St. Cloud State University (my alma mater!). Definitely worth a trek to go-see!

I have some of that recycled silk from The Chicken as well. I’d love to hear what you’re going to knit with it!
