We re-open tomorrow at 10:00am. Here’s a little taste of what it looks like. This does it absolutely no justice but I sure tried. Click to see the bigger view from the front door.
Oh wait. What is THAT!?

Oh yeah baybee! Cascade 220, the Heathers AND Quatro. Uh huh. And soooooo much more beautiful stuff I can’t even list it all here. You just have to see it all for yourself. This is one of my most favorite spots in the store.
Click that picture to see all the rest. It’s just simply amazing.
Who will be there tomorrow?!?

WOW! I wish I lived nearby so I could visit! It looks so bright and inviting. I love the knitting area with comfy chairs.
omg. That little seating corner is SO GREAT! You guys have been working hard! We’ll be there tomorrow afternoon! And Cody wants to bring cookies lol
HOLY CRAP!
taht is beautiful!!
great store!! it is so open and bright!! wish I could come tomorrow, but it is a little too far to try and get to during the school day!! LOL Someday!!
Wow, I sure wished I could hop on a plane and go there!! Amazing place that’ll be!
Unbelievable amounts of yarn, fiber, etc…Yikes!! (well after all the moving, I guess
you really know just how much is there huh?)
Damm it’s big!
I used to live in ABQ, and miss it terribly… where is your store, and what is it called? It look
It looks beautiful and I will definitely drop by the next time I am in town! -Carla
Ha! I’m a dumbass! It says right on top of your post that it’s Village Wools! I love
place, and shopped there often when I lived in town. It looks terrific - what an
amazing job you have done. I will definitely be back in the next time I’m in town!
Yay for you!
yayayayay!!!! It’s so awesome!
Dear Lord, that’s obscenely big! I think that the store will still end up with clumps of knitters standing together in the middle, since they long for the olden days when you had to snug up to the other customers on busy days.
I’m toying with being there at 10am, but that would require taking time off work…hmmm, work or yarn?
And Cascade 220? Finally! It’s only the best felting yarn ever!
Wow! So much open space! I’m definitely going to have to come see the place in person as soon as I can.
I think I dyed & went to yarn heaven. Sure wish I were there. Is there an on-line store?
*sniffle* I wish there was a yarn store like that where I live in Australia. My LYS is the size of postage stamp compared to this. I have an idea that if I ever get to visit a store like this, I will become like a cat that digs its claws into the carpet and refuses to move. heh It looks fabulous!
WOW! I wish I were closer!
That’s it….guess it’s time to move!
Lovely! It looks like a very inviting and inspiring space, very well-planned.
What a gorgeous store!
It looks like the perfect yarn store…. *sigh*
Wow! That store looks fabulous. A girl could get lost among all the yarn in there.
We have nothing that comes close to that!!
One LYS is a hole in the wall and if you pull
one ball out of it’s place the store comes
tumbling down!! There’s like a path through
it and you can barely get through. Did pick
up 6 skeins of Lorna’s Laces Shepherds Sock
though the ridiculous price of $5.35 - I took
all they had out! Our other store shares
space with a bead store. Nothing nearly
as bright, open and inviting as VW. I see
you have a dyer’s corner too.
The new store set-up looks awsome! I love that seating area. I wish I was there again… sigh.
I wish we had an LYS close to where I live! These pictures make me want to shop til I drop.
The sheep? That puppet sheep hanging in the corner in one of the pictures?
Where did you get it? My mom is nuts for sheep things.
It’s beautiful. Look at all those great yarns!
I’ve always wanted to move out there and you have justed added another perfect excuse. WOW! I’d be poor but very happy.
That looks so freakin’ amazing! And I bet the service is nice too (that’s the most important thing, after all). *wistful sigh*
That looks so freakin’ amazing! And I bet the service is nice too (that’s the most important thing, after all). How exciting!!!
Makes me want to get on a plane!
I missed the sheep and the dying area the first time so had to look through them again. That place is awesome! how many people work there? how long have you worked there? I don’t know the history of Village wools but I bet it is interesting the yarns, the people, the landscape, that forever brilliant blue sky! you will have to tell the story one day when you have a minute. it is simply amazing, congratulations on your opening!! The art of knitting is in that store.
