Check it OUT!

We re-open tomorrow at 10:00am. Here’s a little taste of what it looks like. This does it absolutely no justice but I sure tried. Click to see the bigger view from the front door.

Oh wait. What is THAT!?

cascade 220

Oh yeah baybee! Cascade 220, the Heathers AND Quatro. Uh huh. And soooooo much more beautiful stuff I can’t even list it all here. You just have to see it all for yourself. This is one of my most favorite spots in the store.

Ha! I’m a dumbass! It says right on top of your post that it’s Village Wools! I love
place, and shopped there often when I lived in town. It looks terrific - what an
amazing job you have done. I will definitely be back in the next time I’m in town!

Dear Lord, that’s obscenely big! I think that the store will still end up with clumps of knitters standing together in the middle, since they long for the olden days when you had to snug up to the other customers on busy days. ;)

I’m toying with being there at 10am, but that would require taking time off work…hmmm, work or yarn?

And Cascade 220? Finally! It’s only the best felting yarn ever!

*sniffle* I wish there was a yarn store like that where I live in Australia. My LYS is the size of postage stamp compared to this. I have an idea that if I ever get to visit a store like this, I will become like a cat that digs its claws into the carpet and refuses to move. heh It looks fabulous!

We have nothing that comes close to that!!
One LYS is a hole in the wall and if you pull
one ball out of it’s place the store comes
tumbling down!! There’s like a path through
it and you can barely get through. Did pick
up 6 skeins of Lorna’s Laces Shepherds Sock
though the ridiculous price of $5.35 - I took
all they had out! Our other store shares
space with a bead store. Nothing nearly
as bright, open and inviting as VW. I see
you have a dyer’s corner too.

I missed the sheep and the dying area the first time so had to look through them again. That place is awesome! how many people work there? how long have you worked there? I don’t know the history of Village wools but I bet it is interesting the yarns, the people, the landscape, that forever brilliant blue sky! you will have to tell the story one day when you have a minute. it is simply amazing, congratulations on your opening!! The art of knitting is in that store.
