What are your favorite colors?

Well, DUH! Purple, black, pink, gray. I’m starting to really like kelly & lime green too. But otherwise, I’m so, not an autumn girl. No oranges, yellows, browns or greens. I also really don’t like primary colors.

Are you a new mitt knitter? How long have you been knitting mittens?

I have made one pair or mittens. I really want some fingerless mitts and I have never made them. However, I’ve knit my whole life and after knitting numerous socks I think the mitts would be pretty easy.

Do you prefer solid or multicolored yarn?

Um. Depends on the yarn! As you can see I love the Noro Silk Garden. Maybe I should make a matching pair of mitts to go with my new scarf?
What fibers do you prefer in mitt yarn?

Just something not scratchy.

How do you usually carry/store small projects?

I have a million and one bags. I’m really into my GoKnit pouches right now. They really rock.

What are your favorite mitt knitting patterns?

I like quite a few of the cool cabling patterns otherwise I like the self-striping yarn to just show itself off.

What new techniques would you like to try?

Dunno!

Favorite needles?

I really prefer the Crystal Palace DPN’s.

What are some of your favorite yarns?

Mine! HA! Let’s see. It’s hard because really there are so many. I work in a yarn shop so I like a ton of stuff. I haven’t knit with the Cascade 200 Heathers and Quatro and that looks nice. I’m always loving the Noro though. There is just something about self-striping yarn I love so much. I would love to try some Sundara’s yarn. It’s super pretty.

What yarn do you totally covet?

To be honest? None really. I work in a yarn shop and can pretty much dye whatever colors I want. I know that’s not helpful. Ummmmmm I can’t think of anything. I’ll come back if I can.

Any pattern you would love to make if money and time were no object?

Can’t really think of one.

Favorite kind of needles (brand, materials, straights or circs, etc)?

I prefer Cyrstal Palace DPN’s in the shorter size.

Do you have a favorite candy or mail-able snack?

I don’t really have a sweet tooth. If I had to pick a candy it’d be things like Mike & Ike’s and the real, Haribo Gummy Bears.

What’s your favorite animal?

Dog?

Do you have pets? What are their species/names/ages?

Gus, a Standard Poodle who is 15 months old.

If you were a color what color would you be?

Purple or black.

Black & sleeveless. If you’re wondering what fabric I like I really love most of the ones over here.

I love Iris’.
