Wicked Stocked

**I forgot to mention that I have the tape measures all stocked and got lots of extra monkeys & sheep since those are the ones I can’t seem to keep in the shop!**

I’ve been hard at work re-stocking the shop and adding some new things too. As you know I added the great smelling sachets to keep the moths away from your woolens, license plate covers, and new magnets. But the really exciting news is the addition of a new line of bags recommended to me by an Abq local!( click to see bigger pics)

bags

Blogless Wendy sent me a link to the Haiku website and I fell in love with them immediately and ordered them. The Haiku Bags are really cool and am waiting for the second half of the shipment to get here with the Amethyst Purple and Chocolate Brown bags. I’m having a hard time deciding on one for myself because really like all of the colors. Haiku offers a number of other bags I am more than happy to custom order one for you if you’d like. For now I am going to just stick with this style. I really think I need to have this one. Or this one? This? I don’t know really. So just let me know if you want any of the other ones.

I also updated the PippiKneeSocks Roving last night. Her stuff goes fast so check it out! I am debating keeping Atomic Twist and I don’t even spin….I meant, how flipping pretty is this?

I have also stocked almost everything else in the shop. I also added a new color to the GoKnit Pouches. Jennifer said the Yellow is really cute so I got a few. I have an order coming with a bunch of Sushi Wallets and shawl & scarf pins from Romi.

I wanted to also plug a new podcast I’ve been listening to. Y’all know I love my Lime and Violet Grrls but since I’m dyeing outside a lot I needed a few more podcasts in which to listen. They recommended a new podcast the other day called Sticks & String. David Reidy is an Australian/astrophysicist/high school teacher/bloke-knitter! How rocking is that? I love listening to him talk and it’s just great to hear his perspective on the whole knit-scene. Here is a link to his first podcast. He’s done four now and I’ve listened to them all. Keep up the great work David because it’s nice to have your company while I work. If anyone else has other good podcast recommendations I’d love to hear them. I wonder if my neighbor’s think I have a new Australian boyfriend who works with me during the day while T. is gone? Haa!

Do you listen to Craft Lit? Heather says a lot of smart things about literature and then plays librovox recordings.
Plus…she used to live in my old town on the Hudson!

Oh, and why are you such an evil temptress? You know I’m weak when it comes to bags.

Those bags look great–I would definitely be interested in the “ultimate messenger”, although I would have trouble picking a colour…..that’s a great find!
