This Says It All…..Doesn’t It?

I am soooooo tired of this weather!!!!! I’m off to teach my dye class. I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your words yesterday regarding the Dead Mom/Dad Club. Carole is right. We should start a blog? I normally try and reply to my comments but am just completely swamped with everything. So thank you. All of you.

Now stop this frick-fracking snow okay?

Hey, just because you grew up in VT and had your fill of snow, doesn’t mean the rest of us aren’t enjoying it. Ok, maybe it’s just me…but I love it!

Yeah, I’m sick of our weather too! We’re to get more snow this weekend and it has been so freaking cold! I am off to the Tropical Island of Chicago tomorrow, where they are supposed to get snow and it’s always cold there in the winter! UGH!

This is my first winter in over 20 years where there has not been any snow. I feel kinda lost without it. But all things in moderation….

Even though I’ve been a Mainer for life I hate winter. I think I just got frostbite on my ears while taking our friends 2 labs out for a walk AND I had on a down vest, wool sweater, winter coat, scarf and mittens.
We easily must have negative windchills right now. Winter - whether too cold or too much snow sometimes is just no.fun.

Well…we are supposed to be getting our first “winter storm” tomorrow, I’m afraid this is just the beginning of what’s to come! We were having unseasonably warm weather…not anymore!

Oh my gosh, you have more snow than Wisconsin does!! We had a storm last weekend and the kids did get a day off, but we only have about 5 inches on the ground. Another storm is coming our way tomorrow night into Monday. The kids are hoping for another snow day. Take care!!

You’ve got our snow. And you can keep it! :)

A blog might be cathartic. Sigh. Or just painful.

Scout, please feel free to send some of your weather my way. I wouldn’t mind some snow and cold. I get to stay home when it snows even though I still have to work. (The office phone rings in my apartment but that is a slight peril working in a family business.) I get to knit all day unless the phone rings.

But I will say that I do like your photo.

My parents in NC have had our San Diego weather for a week. I want it back! I’ll have them send you some too. The DCA got back from Mississippi okay, and he brought not one, but two, Southern Livings–one for me and one for you. Do you need a spare copy??? Have fun at dye class!

I’m envious of everyone who got to attend your dye class. Albuquerque is a bit of a commute from Ohio, though.

If you do start a blog for the Dead Mom/Dad Club, count me in. I’m a newly-minted member of both clubs since 2006—June 7th (Dad) and September 30th (Mom). It would help to have a place to commiserate and therapy is SO expensive nowadays. If you’re not up for the task, let me know. I’d be happy to start one if there are enough interested potential members.

PS: You can keep the snow. Ohio saw enough over the past few years to last me a lifetime!
