It’s 67° Outside…

and I’m in a sleeveless shirt. Do you know how happy this makes me? (Look Dave! I made the degree symbol!!!) It feels so good to have this weather. Don’t hate me. We already had our fair share of horrible weather this winter. This is what it’s supposed to be like here! I’m feeling a bit better today and even went for a little run. It felt good to exercise even if I didn’t feel 100%. Thank you for all of your “feel better” wishes. Since I can’t ever sit still, even when I’m sick, I’ve been catching up on my work. Yesterday I got a bunch of roving dyed and I’m completely in love with this new one. I’m going to say it. I almost wish I could spin, just to be able to spin this Prepster Roving. The one on the right is a birthday present for Bev. The one on the left goes to the first person who wants it. It’s 4 ounces of the softest superwash merino for $18.00 plus shipping. Get it out of here before I try and learn how to spin it. I can dye more if you want some. Just let me know.  The braids wanted to do a little subathing since it’s so nice outside.

prepster

I’m off to get a bit more dyeing done. I think we even need to use the grill tonight for something other than steaming roving.

There’s plenty of room for that roving in my fabulous new Namaste bag! Darn you, Stephanie!

(Actually, there may be enough room for that roving AND my wheel in the bag….it’s so amazing!!)

They look so happy out there sunning themselves. You just need to photoshop in a martini :)

*jealous* of your weather. At least it’s not 30 below here… but still… it’s not 67 either.

Oh. My. Word. I’m so excited to see Prepster in person! Would you mind putting some of that
warm weather and sunshine in the box, too? Please? I forgot that I don’t like the cold until it got cold!!

Ahhhh….the chance to unthaw. The weather here has been like that too. I’m enjoying it while it lasts. Love the roving color. I refuse to learn how to spin because I don’t need another addiction at the moment. Knitting and my yarn collect cost me enough money for now. :) Happy Dyeing! :)

Hmmmm…. nope, still hate you. ;-) But only because it’s around -5 in Michigan right now. The ignition of one vehicle is frozen and the tumblers won’t move. And I put the other in the ditch Saturday. No obvious damage, but an alignment issue that can’t get looked at till Friday.

Thanks for the warm, balmy pictures, though!! I do need to drop you a line soon regarding some snowbunny sock yarn!

Woof! Unless that’s a kiddie chair, that’s a huge braid of roving. It reminds me of summer Italian Ice. Yumm!!!

Lovely, tropical, sunshiny colors. Sigh. Even if I wanted to shovel the foot or so of snow off the grill, it’s too cold to be grilling anyway.

Hi there I’m Keana, and let me say I am sooooooo jealous of your warm weather.
Really , there is no reason that it should be 67 there and 12 degrees here, and
how ever do you stand that heat????? P.S. How do you do that degree symbol?
