Eye Candy Friday

How about a little fiber candy?

candy

From top to bottom - Calorimetry, Cookie, Hot Fudge Sundae, Snow Bunny & Illini. Even though I have a ton of yarn that is currently backordered, I’ve still been able to get some work done this week. It’s never good when you have like oh say, 50+ skeins that need to be dyed and you don’t have the yarn for it. I hope my cute UPS guy brings it to me soon. Very soon folks.

Here’s another custom colorway I dyed this week. Without cheating and looking at my Flickr pictures can you figure out what inspired this? I’ll give you one hint. Think little boy.

custom

I can’t wait to hear how this little boy likes his custom dyed yarn. His mama already saw it and loves it. Have a good weekend everyone.

I had to come back and show you these. I was sitting at my dining room table when I looked out and noticed the houses behind mine were glowing. The sky was unbelievable this morning. It was one of the prettiest sunrises I’ve seen in a long time. It’s amazing what happens when there are clouds in the sky. Click the picture to see them individually. They are amazing.

Up a bit late, aren’t we? I’m not guessing on the yarn, because I was looking at your Flickr pics earlier. I can’t imagine a little boy who wouldn’t love it, though.

You need to add some more blue to the Illini colorway (and a little green) and call it Gator!

Ah, why not? We won two National Championships this year ;-)

Hey, sorry to hear you are under the weather. I am working on my second round of the creeping crud. I got a one week break between them… BLEH!

Are you headed out to Stitches West this year??? If so, I’ll see ya out there. The company is sending me out for a technical conference during the same weekend! YEAH!!!!!

I am totally enamored with Illini. As a WI Badger, I’m going to try to screw up the courage to get past the name and order some soon.

Looking at Hot Fudge Sundae, I thought, “S’mores!” I don’t know why I felt obliged to share; let’s just chalk it up to illness.

I never would’ve figured out that colorway, so I went and peeked. Now that I know what it is, I totally see it :-) The hot fudge sundae colorway is my favorite out of that set and probably not a good thing to think about before breakfast! Heh.

That Cookie looks way more purple than the pink and brown skein in the gallery. Did you change the recipe?

I find it funny that you named that second colorway after Cookie, because it is really similar to the color scheme of a local company called Hot Cookie (www.hotcookie.com) and combined with the name…it makes me want to go eat some cookies, hahaha!

JOJOs Circus. Hmmmm Now I have to go look to see how hot or cold I am. What

I love Fiber Eye Candy! It’s definitely the best kind. That custom dyed yarn reminds me of popsicles or snow cones. Is that it? I’m going to go check your Flickr pictures now and find out.
