Scout’s Indie Swag II - Details

First of all I’d like to wish Margene a Happy Birthday! I hope you have a fantastic day. You deserve it grrl.

Here are the details of the signup. There are a number of you who will not be by the computer on Friday night so we have decided to leave up the signup page for 24 hours. (Hey overseas peeps! See, I got you covered!) I want to remind anyone outside of the US that you will have to pay additional shipping charges. The prices of $190, $110 and $40 do not include international shipping. If you get into the club I will bill you for that afterwards. It’s about $21 more for Canada and $33.00 more for all other countries.

Here is the Round II signup page! Bookmark that. Once it’s time, you will enter your name, email address and then you will check a box for which membership slot you want. Please only check one box. ( 6 month, 3 month or 1 month) There will also be a checkbox for all current Indie Swag Club members. We will be checking this against the list so please do not check that box unless you are truly in the club.

After 24 hours the page will disappear and Adam’s wicked cool program will randomly pick the spots. I will send out an email followed by a Paypal Invoice for the cost of the membership if you are selected. I have decided to up the total number of slots to 40. Theses are the spaces available:

34 (6-month) subscription for $190

8 (3-month) subscription for $110

12 (1-month) subscription for $40 per month

I want to publically thank Adam again for helping me with this. As I mentioned the other day I didn’t want to do this again unless it was fair for everyone. I hope that explains everything. If not, just leave a comment.

I leave you with another Taos picture. I was in a stationery store and the woman working there was kind enough to let me take pictures of the wrapping paper. Tara asked me in the interview that’s up on Create a Connection about what inspires me. This image is a great example of what inspires me.

Hmm, will there be new colorways inspired by those wrapping papers? I still remember one of your first colorways was inspired by a placemat from Target - you really changed my way of looking at objects/colors!

You know, at first glance, this is a very stressful thing - I want in so badly, but it’s by lottery. But then it’s so nice to feel that fate has a hand. If I get picked, the universe is letting me know that it’s okay to spend the money. It’s a karmic guarantee that my wallet will be relatively unharmed. Ahhh….

I really, really loved being in the Swag Club. But, alas, since I’m still trying to get my next career up and going, I just can’t afford to sign up for Round II. I’ll still have fun watching the wonderful yarn and swag that goes out in this round. Best of luck to everyone hoping for a spot. And thank you so much for all the time and work you put into Round 1. I truly loved everything!!!!

Crap, we’re going to be in Massachusetts cleaning out Rick’s brother’s apartment (details are on my blog, I don’t want to bring your comments down). Well, I will just try my best to be online at some point during that 24 hours.
