This & That

First up, Saturday Sky. Taken at 8:00am.

I also have a skein of Prepster for sale. Somehow, a few specks of black/purple got on it and being the perfectionist I am, I didn’t feel comfortable sending it to the person who ordered it. Click the picture to see what I’m talking about. It’s a totally pretty skein of yarn and even though yes, handpainted yarn is never perfect, I know those teeny few spots are there and already re-dyed it for my customer.

And finally, remember that you have until 6:00pm MST tonight to sign up for the Scout’s Indie Club lottery. Read about it here. Then it’s closed for a whole year people! Since I’m doing every other month for 6 months on this one I won’t do another sign up until March/April 2008. Speaking of Indie Swag……I am off to dye this month’s yarn. Did I forget to tell you who the swag is from this month to tease you a bit? Just a little ole pattern from Kate Gilbert. Yep. And it’s incredible. Just wait until you see it. The final month of the first round of the club is going out with a BANG! I plan to get it in the mail by the 23rd or before.

I almost forgot. If you live in New Mexico can you please follow this link and click on the demand button to get Amy R. Singer to come to Village Wools for a book signing. She said it really helps to show her publisher where people want her so I started this up. We’re up to 37 demands already so get those clicks in! Also, I’m so excited my friend Stefanie Japel aka Glampyre Knits, is coming to Village Wools on May 5th for a book signing and trunk show. She’ll be there from 1-3pm so make sure you come down to buy her new book fitted knits and get her to sign it!

You can barely see it. :)
I’d take it but someone beat me to it. I may order that color the next time I order. My oldest daughter loved the colors.

i have another ridiculously lame question to ask you about the indie swag club…i signed up for my spot in the lottery…but i used a different email than what i used for my last spot…will i still get two chances?

my mind is on spring break, so pardon if that’s completely silly. ;)

Man, I am so slow, I thought I was the first one here. I signed up for the lottery…crossing fingers.

Aww, I was hoping for a count so far…I wanna know how many people I’m up against. (And I’ll say it again - you’re being so excruciatingly FAIR about this! It’s a good thing….right?)

I’ve been drooling over the Indie Club, but this year the funds are going to medical bills. I know you’re looking to find who is really interested, in terms of a total count…count me in…for 2008!

Okay, I lied. I signed up for the lottery anyway. I figure my odds are slim with all the other signups, and I would kick myself for not trying. I can’t wait to see my last installment for Indie Swag I!
