Eye Candy & a Favor

This is all I have for you today my friends. I had a custom order for a skein of snowbunny, but using turquoise instead of the regular blue. I really like how it looks.

My friend Anna asked me if I would direct people over to her blog to read about her experiences doing relief work in New Orleans. Please take a few minutes if you can to go over and read her blog. Okay? Thank you.

My inlaws are about to arrive. I still have about 2-3 hours of dyeing to do. Can you say “stressed out?” I also just realized that Supergirl doesn’t have school again on Monday in observance of the last day of Passover. As much as I’ve loved her pre-school over the past three years, there are just too many dang Jewish holidays! (She goes to school at the Temple) I’m ready for her to go to public school where she’ll at least miss the same days as her brother so I’m not having these two day work weeks. It’s really not working for me. Have a great weekend everyone!

I signed up for your dye class tomorrow, I’m so excited and I have been thinking about colors all day.
Your colors are always so inspiring, I hope mine look half as good.

Lovely, lovely skein - looks especially wonderful against the sky! Have a great weekend - and you must be doing better, if you’re dyeing again, right?!

Gorgeous yarn. :) Having a kid who only goes half days is a real pain too. I’ll be happy when my oldest is going full time next year. Have a great weekend.

Gorgeous! You could keep that a regular colorway and call it Turquoise Trail or something — makes me think of turquoise jewelry!

That turquoise rocks–I need that! Beautiful! Know what you mean when there are holidays messing with our schedules! For once, our preschool is open Monday, ahhh. Don’t forget to tell everyone to watch on Monday! We’ll never hear from you again, you’ll be so busy!

I really like the turquoise in there as well - are you going to make that up as a separate line or just a one-off if people request it?

My husband and some of his fellow Guardsmen spent a month deployed to NO following Katrina and my BIL still lives there. The city will never be
the same and it’s disgraceful that more has not and is not being done to the levees to protect the residents there in the future.

The turquoise and brown look smashing together.

I know you have created a colorway called Deatheaters. I just signed up for a KAL where the participants create socks for their partners in the
colorways of the Hogwart’s houses to which they were sorted (link on my blog). Anyway, there will be some people out there in search of Griffyndor,
Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and even a few skeins of yarn in Slytherin’s colors. I know that you are swamped with everything happening right now, but
some of your existing colorways are pretty darned close. Would you mind if I sent some folks over? Cheers.

Hey there. I love the colorway. Could that be my
request? I can’t wait to see it! It is exactly how I
envisioned it! I didn’t know that you read minds!
I only read some of the blog as I don’t want to lose
my composure at work, just heartbreaking.
