Have a great weekend everyone. I won’t be around much as we are going away with a group of friends to celebrate T’s 40th birthday - sans kids. Yep. You heard that right. I’ve been planning this weekend for over two months and it’s finally here. We just wish his best friend, who reads this blog, could have made it. We’ll have a drink for you dude okay? Or two? Or three…..

Very nice. I need to save up to get me a nice macro lens and flash setup. It’s my favorite mode for photos.

niiiiiiiiiiiiice. and dang, girl! you are ON IT with your swag! i am so impressed with the swiftness of your service. you totally rock! and btw, i am feeling the go knit pouches, but haven’t bought one yet. i think it’s hilarious and embarrassing at the same time to acquire so many knitting bags; i now find myself acquiring more SOCK KNITTING bags. yikes! believe me, when i do settle on a color, i’ll know where to go to get my go knit pouch. ;)

[...] I am jealous of Scout’s new camera. While I have an awesome and snazzy camera which is super portable (Canon Digital Ixus 750) and I love, I am beginning to understand how a better camera makes blogging and photography in general better. I am a bit of a photography nut, my three favorite classes of my highschool career were english, physics and photography. I have dreams of building a darkroom one day even though I now shoot entirely in digital. My dad has a fantastic Olympus camera that I keep trying to get him to give me. No one uses it and I adore it. So maybe one day I’ll succeed in getting it and then I will build a darkroom. Still, an SLR would be good for the sort of day to day photography I do. I love how knitting encapsulates all these cool toys. Blogs! Cameras! Yarn! It’s beyond cool. [...]
