Eye Candy Friday

This has become even more fun for me now that I have my new camera. I put together a mosaic again because I couldn’t decide on just one shot. Click for the bigger image.

The top right corner is one of my favorite things to get from the Flying Star restaurant. There’s nothing better than bread, green chiles and melted cheddar cheese! The pool opened a few weeks ago at the JCC so we’ve been going in the afternoons with friends. Luckily the kids can now swim so I don’t even have to go in the pool if I don’t want to. The Iris was for John. He’s painting something for his mom and sent me on a mission to shoot purple flowers the other day. And finally, the Spanish Broom shot in the lower right-hand corner. I love this shot.

I have an added Eye Candy shot for today. If you have not bought soap from Laurie of Blessed Juno you had better get your heiny over there and get some pronto! I think Margene was the one to originally turn me on to her. I have been using her soap for over the past year and each time I buy more and more because I love giving it as gifts and also hate to run out. I think there are about eight bars of soap in my fridge right now. The eye candy for today? Oh my gawd people. This new one she has is the most amazing smelling soap ever. Every night I use it I feel like I’m in a spa. It smells that good. She sent me a sample of it and after I took a shower I emailed her immediately yelling at her ,” I WANT MORE OF THAT SOAP NOW!” Luckily she has a great sense of humor and just laughed at me. And sent me more. She’s smart too. It’s a limited edition especially for knitters! (I’m sure crocheters too) So please go support Blessed Juno. She’s fantastic. She’s also a teacher and a mama so of course I love her even more! My other favorite is Breeze. That’s the one I’ve been using for the past year. I feel like I’m cheating on my Breeze with this Hand Knit. I’m sorry Breeze. I just love Hand Knit more.

I promise you will never use another soap again…..

Oh! Kritter Cases are back in. Looks like the Fergie The Frog one is the most popular one so I already ordered more of them including the Koala one. There is one left right now. There is also a really good amount of GoKnit Pouches still in too. For the first time in about three months I didn’t sell right out of those because I’ve been slowly working on keeping higher quantities of each color and size. Have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend everyone! My kids are officially both done school in about 4 hours and it’s summer time!! Whooooo hoooooo!

I love Laurie’s soaps, too. My favorite is New Day. It’s peppermint scented and it has poppy seeds for exfoliating. It wakes me up and makes me happy!

I’m going to be stalking your site for the Koala one. Back in high school and college my friends used to call me the Koala. I had very curly, poofy hair that made me look like one. :-)

Oh My! Seeing that bread made me hungry –I ran to make some toast and a cup
    Dulce de Lece Tea:)

The soaps I’ve got to get my hands on some of that and try it out.

And the cases… Well now I want the Koala too! As Governator says…I’ll be Back!

My daughter has that same swimsuit!

I was just thinking to myself - as much as I dislike the idea of me being out in a swimsuit, I love being outside in a swimsuit in the water. In any case, my swimsuit is nearly as pretty as a tropical blue and green print.
