This picture was for Flickr Roulette and it made me laugh so I thought I’d share. I’m such a dork! Do you see my lovely fingernails are still black from when I caught them in the garage door two months ago!? Yeah. I still have four completely black fingernails. It’s really beautiful. Oh! Also, since this is somewhat along the line of talking like a sailor, have you heard the newest Lime & Violet podcast? Yours truly talks with Violet for about 1.5 hours and it’s pretty funny. I’m warning you now…. your sweet and innocent Scout lets a few words slip. Whoops! Please don’t listen to it if you think you would be offended. That Violet is such a bad influence. Haaaa!! I hope I can remember all of the things I want to tell you. Let’s start with two skeins of 100% superwash merino ZuluKnitty in fingering weight that I have for sale that didn’t pass the Inspection Police. They are absolutely beautiful but they each got a few specks of colors in them that shouldn’t be there. I don’t think it will be very noticeable when knit up, and hey, it’s hand dyed so it won’t ever be perfect, but I just didn’t feel comfortable selling it to the customers who ordered them. You have to understand I’m a perfectionist and probably most people wouldn’t think twice about sending it out but I just couldn’t. So, I’ll sell them at a discounted price of $18.00 plus shipping to the first two people who respond and pay for them. SOLD! And this is actually a colorway featured in the new Knitty! The other thing featured on the cool stuff page are my GoKnit Pouches. I just got in a new shipment today so the store is completely stocked. I am also proud to present the newest color in the GoKnit line - Orchid! And the coolest part is that all proceeds of the sales of these bags goes to Alzheimers Research. This is a cause near and dear to Jenn’s, the owner of KnowKnits, heart. The prices are $2.00 more than the other colors.
Within the next week I will also be getting in another cool stuff item in the shop - the cute Soak care labels with messages as well as the new Scent - Sola, evening garden by Amy Butler.

Hey gang. I’ve been kinda sick this week so I’ve been hanging low. I’m on the other side of it but it’s still lingering and let me tell you, I do not do sick well at all. It’s just a cold, nothing major. Anyway. I’m killing two birds with one stone and bringing you one picture for my Eye Candy and Saturday Sky shot even though it was taken on Friday. I’m sick. Give me a break!! Plus, this one is special because my girl Carole called me from work last night and asked me very nicely to take this for her. Here you go chica.
I was able to give her 6 sunsets in one. Who speaks Spanish? If you do will you click on the picture and tell me if I wrote the title correctly please? See in Vermont they teach you French….not Spanish. I asked a friend over the phone but want to make sure it’s right.

What’s up everyone? Well I’m sad because John went home. Really. We had such a good time, my kids and T.completely loved him and I just wasn’t ready for him to go home yet. And, he missed this huge event in our house by just a few hours.
Supergirl lost her first tooth last night. I mean, she had her first tooth pulled out last night. It’s been extremely wiggly for weeks. As soon as we saw her adult tooth was coming in we knew she needed to get that one out. Last night was the night. She was totally brave and didn’t even care that it hurt. She is so dang tough that one. The tooth fairy was nice enough to leave her tooth for her too so she can bring it to school. She can not stop talking about it and showing us all how she can stick her tongue through the space.
What else? Well there’s lots but the kids are up and it’s time for breakfast so I guess I’ll have to come back and write more another time.
