Eye Candy in the Sky

Balloon Fiesta has started and with soccer, soccer, soccer, life is nutso. I know I’m the worst blogger ever. I really need to decide what to do with this thing. Maybe once I get knitting again I’ll be more inspired but for now……this is about all I have.

sky

This shot is taken by me standing in the middle of the street out in front of my house. I came back to add in this one taken this morning from the back yard. Click to read about them.  Aren’t they the coolest!?

bees

How about one more from last night for my Saturday Sky? We were at our friend’s house out in Bernalillo. They have the most amazing view of the Sandia Mountains.

Okay gang. Have a great Sunday!

So pretty! I just read a book where they talked about the fact that in New Mexico, the sky is like the ocean (for us East Coasters.)

Wow, our weather (climate) is so different! I posted a photo today out my window. Stormy, and the maple tree is changing colour. We have colourful leaves, you have colourful balloons!

Blog when you have time - that’s what I do!

I am so moving to YOUR house!

BTW, has that job with the New Mexico board of Tourism come through yet?

You could lead knitting/dyeing and photographic tours through NM!

Wonderful photos! They really make me want to go back to New Mexico - I had a good time visiting Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos. Such a beautiful state.

We see balloons semi-frequently here, but we don’t have a festival near by. That must be a blast to watch!

ay, chica! has it really been an entire year since I came through Abq??? whew. I’m sorry to have missed the festival this year and even sorrier to have let so much time go by without a visit (me you you all or you all up here in Utah). Anyway, big hugs to you and the superkids. And I did read ahead and am soooo glad the fire didn’t hurt your house or yourselves. much love.
