So THERE!

To all of the haters, I mean doubters….

ribbing

Ha!! See? I’m really doing it. I know it doesn’t look like much but I think it’s been almost 2 months since I even knit at all. I’m loving how this Wollmeise is knitting up. It’s pooling a bit more than I’d like but we’ll see what it does once I get past the ribbing. (and this color is much more accurate than the other one)

Today I get to go with Supergirl and her kindy class on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. I can’t decide which camera to bring. I just hope I can walk around. On Sunday I really messed up my feet when I broke in my new cleats. I was going to upload this yesterday but didn’t want to make anyone lose their dinner. You’ve been warned do not click this link if you have a weak stomach. These blisters are BAD! See. Toldja.

Those blisters look so painful! I hate cleats, had a pair literally rip the entire back of my heels off at a tournament a few weeks ago. I hope that you have lots of flip-flops and backless shoes to wear while they heal!

Oh ouchy! You need a pair of slip-ons. That yarn is so pretty! It looks like the colors might be spiraling and not pooling. Glad you’re back at it;-)

Ouch! But that cuff is sexy. I don’t blame you for not knitting. Never stopped me from reading! Because surprise! You’re interesting. So I’m glad you’re knitting again (mojo is always good), but ignore the naysayers. =D

Oof, they look like my own blisters I get when breaking in new Lands End shoes. I’ve decided that if a shoe makes my…Achilles heel? do that, it’s not a good shoe.

And the pooling is awesome, keep it up, babe!

No, not haters but you definitely came blame me for asking for
some proof of knitting (very pretty). What you need are some of the clogs without the back.
Keep your feet warm and don’t upset the blisters

Dude! Blisters suck. Run to the drug store and get yourself some Band-aid Blister Stick. It’s seriously awesome for new shoes. You rub it on your foot before you put your shoes on and like magic, no blisters. That’s how I got through all those weddings this summer.

Lord, have I seen those blisters before. With two club/high school/indoor soccer playing girls I have seen them all. The worse are the ones that develop under the callus which they have lovingly built in defense of the give and go and the slide tackle.

Who could doubt whether or not you would knit once you said you would? Your feet look sore. I hate blisters. Have fun at the pumpkin patch!

Ouchies!! Those are always the worst. Is that Poison No. 5 from Wollmeise? I so love their stuff- I can’t wait until Loopy Ewe gets their shipment!

You’re not kidding! Those blisters look . . . well, let’s just say they don’t look good. Ha! Do let them heal before attempting those mean cleats again. Fingers and toes — yep, they take a lot of wear and tear on us active girls.

Margene is right, it is more spiralling than pooling, which is nice. Those a re some tough blisters. Yikes, girl friend. I hope you’re not using those cleats anymore, or using some protective footwear with them the next time.

I bypassed the blister photo, I will just have to take your word about how bad they are. Definitely take your better camera to the pumpkin patch. Nothing cuter than kids and pumpkins, except maybe for kids with pumpkins.

Owie! Your feet look as bad as my hubby’s - he’s training for the Goofy Marathon
at Disneyland in January - so at least you have company in your misery!
Nice socks! Good luck at the patch!

Ouch to the blisters! Our pumpkin patch flooded in all the rain we’ve been having, but the sun finally broke out today so maybe the waters will recede a little. There’s been a lot of disappointed little kids in the last week.

Oh, dude! Those feetsies! I hope you decided to wear something with open backs and you covered those open blisters well with bandages — if they get infected, they’ll never heal! I also hope you don’t even have to think about cleats for a while!

That yarn is to die for!! SOOOOO glad I was able to snag some for myself, you enabler you!!

YIKES! Those blisters are BAD!!! Okay sweetie, so Mom’s #1 rule for breaking in shoes: Put the bandaids on BEFORE you get the blisters, like when you put the shoes on for the first, second and third times. Okay?
