Eye Candy Friday

I’m taking Eye Candy Friday literally today. :)

I was so fortunate to finally meet Jenny Esperanza the other day. If you have not seen her work you need to sit down and take the time to go through her stream. When I first joined Flickr, Jenny was one of the first people I *found* who just left me so inspired and excited about photography. One of my very first shots I fav’d on Flickr was this shot of hers. I remember it so clearly. So it was extra special for me to meet someone who had and still has such an impact on my photography.

Not only is she immensely talented but she is such an amazing woman and mother. I can’t wait for us to be able to hang out again without being so rushed. We didn’t take many shots but I asked permission to take this one because it ranks up there as one of the coolest tattoos I’ve seen. It is based off of “Tears” (Larmes) by Man Ray.

Make sure and check out her website too. It’s just fantastic. Also, if you live locally, she has a huge 8-page spread in the February issue of the New Mexico Magazine.

    Hi Scout, last month I accidentaly came accross your monthly desktops. I printed it and use it as a calander (sp?) on my desk. It makes me feel so much better to look at it every day! So I was kinda hoping to have the new one by Monday. One do you usually upload them? Don’t get me wrong, I understand you and the one making them are busy, but I just wanted to ask!

    I love your pictures! Whish I had a tiny bit of “talent” in taking pictures myself.

    Those eyes are pretty nice, but YOURS are flippin’ AWESOME! That color is to dye (get it??) for and comes through SO well in photos!
