the gratitude I feel towards the fiber community. With almost 70 donations we raised a significant amount of money. I’m not going to announce the total but just know that it is absolutely enough money to make a huge difference in Symeon’s life right now. You should all be so freaking proud of what you’ve come together and done for Symeon and her family. Seriously. So after putting in all of the names into a spreadsheet and adding in the extra names per every $5.00 put in, I then used the random sequence generator to get our 4 winners. They are:
Anna - the Heal My Hands gift pack
Michele - Rowing Home skein
Lynae - $50.00 gift certificate
Elizabeth - $50.00 gift certificate
I have emailed all of the winners. Thank you again so much. Every single one of you. Y’all won some major karma points this week. ![]()
Pippi would also like to share the following words -
I would like everyone to know how completely overwhelmed I am by the love and generosity I’ve been bestowed. And how this whole experience has given me the gift of hope, which is priceless. Having hope and feeling cared about has lifted so much of the weight. Knowing that I have friends that would go to such lengths to help us out fills me and humbles me. Mere words do not express the gratitude I feel, so trying to write it down is tough.
We love you girly! I’m so glad I was able to help move the troops too. Hopefully you still don’t want to kill Amy and me.
xoxo

What a beautiful message from Pippi. Thanks for sharing it!
That’s so great. I’m glad that there was a good response! All the best for Pippi.
This is why, when I (often) say “I hate people,” I seldom mean anyone in the fiber community (just the pattern thieves). We certainly do rock.
yay! :o)
