Check out these totally cool gauges handmade out of bamboo by KaratStix! I am one of the very few to carry this cool, new swag. The gauge has been made using a laser engraving and cutting machine to ensure highly accurate measurements. It is then lovingly sanded and embellished by hand with colored pencils and coated with a satin polyurethane finish and polished to a silky feel. I am carrying 5 different styles and seriously, it’s the coolest swag I’ve seen in a while!
The shop is almost completely restocked. I’m just waiting on a few things. I should have more Namaste bags back in the shop within a few weeks. Those babies are hot! The tape measures, pattern tamers, Clover notions, and kitchener dogtags have all been restocked. I’m just waiting on getting back in more stitch savers. A new GoKnit Pouch order will be placed next week too.
I will leave you with a shot from a photography shoot I did yesterday with our good friends and their 9 day old baby girl, Parker. I’ve been doing more and more professional shoots lately and am loving it. Cynthia and her husband got up the beginnings of my photography website and it’s looks amazing so far. I just need to work on my prices so we can finish it up. I guess I haven’t really talked about that too much here but it’s yet another thing that’s been keeping me busy. I have two shoots next week already booked. I’m really enjoying it.

Beautiful! I love the one in your stream before this one too. I have a similar film shot that I didn’t know I took until I got the pictures back. Your photos are wonderful! And the swag is tempting me…..
What precious little feet! Love the knitter’s gauge. I’m totally, “why didn’t I think of that?” I laser cut things all the time… This is beautiful.
That photo is gorgeous!
I love the quote from Maria Montessori. The photo is beautiful!
The new website looks really good. I love the shots you put up.
Love the tiny feet. I have been ordered by Grandma to have a picture taken of Bella in July for her 4th birthday. I will be calling you.
Your photographs are beautiful.
Did you study in photography or it’s just always been a hobby for you?
LOVE the shot of baby feet! They’re teeny for such a short time ….
Oh my gosh, that photo is simply breathtaking - I have butterflies looking at those amazing tiny little feet. Nice!
Photo is great, but for some reason the right side bar items are over the words and photographs. I use mozilla to web surf.
Thanks
Thanks for the eye candy. All your photos are great. Wish you good luck with it.
Love your site. mary
Absolutely gorgeous picture! I look at the enormous (and smelly!) sneakers that my three leave around the house these days, and I wonder if they could ever have been that small (and clean!).
The photo is stunning! I checked out your photography site too and might I say that you are quite talented! Good luck with this endeavor.
I stopped by your photography site after seeing all your gorgeous photos on your blog, and you have such a gift (and such GORGEOUS surroundings!) I just have to ask what kind of camera you use - hubby has been a film man for years, and is finally breaking down and joining the rest of the world in wanting a digital camera. He wants a D-SLR, and I was wondering if you use one, if you like it, and if you’d recommend it. Thanks!
