I’m in love with this new Namaste Bag. Have you seen the Newport Bag? And I’m so not a big purse girl as I’ve had this Haiku Bag as my purse for the last year. But there is something about this bag I just adore. Maybe it’s because I know that most stores haven’t received their shipments yet so I know I was one of the first which makes it extra-special-cool swag that I want it? I got one in charcoal and used it yesterday and got a ton of compliments. I mean look!
She looks so happy with her bag doesn’t she? I also received new shipments of all of the other bags in the Cali Collection in every color including the new Peacock color. Look how pretty this one is.
I almost kept that one too. It’s hard running a shop when you get cool stuff in all of the time. You just want it all! Not that I’m complaining! So go grab your bags and don’t hesitate because they will more than likely be gone pretty quickly. I only got 2 -4 in each color because I wanted to make sure I got each color in each bag. There’s other new stuff up in the shop and new GoKnit Pouches will be here within the next few days to replenish that stock.
What else? Well I’m off to San Fran next week to teach my dye class. I’m really excited for that. I also get to hang out with Stephen and Mike and possibly whip up a podcast while I’m there too! If you haven’t listened to them yet what in the world are you waiting for??? Um. It’s been super hot here and I’m melting. I felt like I about died yesterday when I went for a run. I’m so not kidding. See?
Time to go start packing up some orders. I know it’s 6:30am but this is when I usually start my day. At least I can do it in my pajamas right?

This time of year, we have to get started early or we don’t stand a chance. Have a good safe trip!
I want Peacock, since I have found their turquoise is a little too pale for me personally. I LOVE the Peacock - it’s perfect! The other thing I love about the new bag is that the handles are flat, not rounded. I have narrower (and I been told slightly sloping) shoulders. Bags with rounded handles don’t get along with my shoulders, but these handles would be perfect.
BTW, congrats on all the accolades your photos have been earning lately. Much deserved! I wish you success in your newest career, and have to ask…Where the heck do you find the time?!? (I just noticed what time you posted and see that’s where you get some extra time - I’m usually soundly sleeping then).
I love my new Laguna bag. I felt as if I had finally found the perfect bag after searching for so long. But now I see the Peacock… you tempt me!!!!
Hope your hot weather has broken as has ours in the SF Bay Area. You probably found SF quite pleasant for your dyeing class. I received the needle gauge I ordered, and the tiny crochet hook keychain, and both are so cool! The keychain is for my crazy crochet mother, but it arrived just in time to help me pick up a stitch I’d dropped in my knitting. She need never know!
I’ll be at the dye class with Marisol, I can’t wait!
Love my new Namaste Cali Clutch! I call the “knitter’s mullet”……….business in the front, knittin’ in the back! Just perfect for carrying a sock or other small project. And the non-leather, leather feels great!
