Taos Wool Festival - 2008

Anyone else going? I have wanted to get up there to the festival since we’ve moved here but it’s always in the middle of soccer season. This year I’m going to miss Supergirl’s game so I can get out of town with a few girlfriends to check it out. I have friends who live there so I have a place to stay which makes it nice. I guess October is the Wool Festival month for me this year since I will be going to Rhinebeck a few weeks after Taos. I’ll be all wooled out!

Also, I dyed a few skeins of this new colorway yesterday. I’m calling it “hope.”  I am more than happy to dye more too. I am out about 4 weeks on all orders so if you don’t mind the wait, just let me know and I can put it up in the shop for you and get you on the dye queue. You can have any fiber dyed in it. I am stocked with all weights of yarn and have some superwash merino roving too. Just look here to see what I have available.

I’ll take it! Is it up in the shop? I’ll go check!

There’s a super slim chance I’ll be at Taos, but I’m not counting on it. I want to come out to meet the twins, and I’m trying to see if I can swing it all into the same weekend!

Ummm…your template swapped out when I blinked and then it was back - where’d the grass go?

Americans have so many wool fests. Hopefully one of these years I’ll get down to one of them (hopefully a BIG one).

    Have a good one!

Well, I’m not going to Taos, either, but I think there’s a group from one of my LYSs making a trip there. Last year they went to Ireland and/or Scotland, this year to Taos… I know. Have fun!!

I’m going with friend Kristi - can’t wait! It’ll be my first time - I spent summers or winters in Taos every year for years, but I’ve never been to the Wool Festival….just bought the plane tickets yesterday! Whee!

I was seriously considering going to Taos Wool Festival, but I just don’t know if I can make it fit my student budget…. unless I work extra hard! lol

Got my reservations in Taos and will be driving from Wichita with a fellow knitter. Plus staying one night in Santa Fe to play some golf. It’s gonna be a great weekend!
