Green Couch Swag - December Calendars!

There is still time to enter the contest so make sure you’ve left a comment on the previous post if you haven’t yet. Also, Melanie Falick is having a contest too so head over there and win there too!

I am seriously in disbelief that it is December. The time goes way too fast sometimes! Here are the calerndars from this month from Cynthia and me. For anyone who takes one can you leave a comment? I’m really curious as to how many people really download them each month. I actually almost told Cynthia I thought maybe it was time to stop but I’ll let you guys help make that decision. Do you love them? Do you use them every month? Do you not care either way?  We’ve been doing them for almost 1.5 years now and I just want to see if a lot of people are even really using them!

Without further ado…..here are the calendars for December! Just click on the image and it will bring you to the larger image to download to your desktop. Hope you like them!

I love your calendars! I put the yarn one on my desktop at work, and a non-yarn one on the computer at home. I love the photography, and one of these days I’ll be able to afford one of your beautiful skeins of yarn in my hands and not just on my computer!

I just started using them last month. I never realized how convenient it is to have one right here… Also, last month I just had to have one of your photos of our president-elect! This time I’ve downloaded the aspen leaf. I love your photos and appreciate you sharing them. Thanks!

I have only known about your calendars for a few months. Some times I have printed them, and sometimes I have not. But I’ve always enjoyed the photography and composition. My decisions about usage have a lot more to do with my own organizational state than with the calendars themselves. =) This month the leaf version will be hanging in my kitchen, making me appreciate the season every time it catches my eye. Thanks!

Please don’t discontinue your calendars. I admit that I don’t post when I download the calendars (bad me!) but I look forward to changing mine every month. This month I chose the leaf photo…very relaxing to gaze at amidst the throes of internet shopping.

I snagged one of each design and will switch through the month. Please don’t discontinue them.. I love them and take at least one every month (except last month because they were mostly political and I didn’t want to “advertise” who I voted for - I have enough trouble with my Repub. inlaws.. lol)

I download them about 80% of the time……(I alternate between your calendars and sexy pictures of David Tennant, the current Doctor Who). This month was hard, though…….all the pics are too pretty.

BTW, thanks for doing the dates on both sides of the pic…….all my icons live on the left side of my screen, so the calendar-right pics are perfect!

Absolutely! I download them almost monthly - usually try them all out before settling on one. (Honestly - personally didn’t care for most of November’s - was just kind of sick of all of the politics - but it just gave me an excuse to take a pic of my pup to use.)

I love the yarns ones - the moon ones - the flora ones…just keep ‘em coming.

I also pass the website around the office and your work is seen on many monitors around the place. :)

I happen to love the calendars and use them every month. I usually download all of the calendars. In this case, the yarn pic is on my home computer and one of the non-yarn pics goes on my desktop at work. This month it will be the leaf one. Last one I had the Obama picture on my work desktop. Many of my coworkers loved the Obama pic and asked where they could get it. I don’t always comment every month, but i have been downloading the pics since the beginning and use them every month on my desktop(s). Thanks again for providing them.

I have chosen the leaf with the calendar on the left. I love the subtle colors and focus on nature. Your calendars allow me to eliminate the boredom on my work computer.

Hey, I have been downloading your calendars for a very long time now. I’m not sure when I started but in the past I have chosen images of yarn, sunsets, raindrops etc. This month I chose the leaf. I may switch to the moon scene in a few weeks just to keep it real.
    Thanks

Hey…..ever consider doing a calendar (a whole year in advance)? You could do a yarn-centric calendar and a pretty picture calendar. And if you’re really ambitious, a page-a-day calendar!

I use one every month! Please don’t stop doing them! I took the leaf with the calendar on the left this month.

I also love your calendars, and use them on my work desktop. Every month I get a comment about how beautiful they are (I must add that I use a non-yarn image, for the uninitiated!)
I hope you can keep them coming!

I download your calendars every month. My work colleagues always comment on how lovely they are, and they are inspiring me to get an SLR (maybe for Xmas) so that I can take nicer photos (not as nice as yours I’m sure). Thanks!

I have been using your calendars for well over a year (I think almost as long as you’ve been making them!), and I seriously look forward to the first of the month because of them–no joke. I understand that woman’s got to do what a woman’s got to do, but please know that your work is very appreciated and useful! I chose the leaf design this month. Thank you!!

I love your calendars and use one each month. They were a joy when I was living out of the country and got to see the wonderful NM sky. I usually choose the yarn picture, but this month I chose the leaf–it is lovely. Someday I plan to buy yarn from you, but I am still working through a large stash of my own! Thanks so much for a wonderful site.

I love the desktop calendars. I love your photos and at the first of the month the very first thing I do is go look for the new calendar/photo and put it on my desktop to enjoy all month. Of course I love the yarn pictures and choose yarn plus the calendar to the right. Thank you so much for doing these. It is the little things that bring joy into my life and your photos plus the calendar add that little bit of joy to my day everyday when I log on to my computer at work.

I love them! I picked the yarn heart with the calendar on the right for my work desktop, and will pick one of the yarn ones for the home computer when I get on next. I like the yarny ones the best, although this month’s leaf is absolutely stunning! I love the photography ones, too, but I’m in love with the yarn, and everyone needs to know it! Thanks for doing these!

Scout, I can’t tell you how much I look forward to getting and downloading you calendars each and every month. I have two computers at work (one is a laptop), and I just looked and I’ve downloaded more than one calendar every month since the beginning of this year. I’ve just started putting one on my desktop too. I always get great comments from my co-workers on the photographs, especially the calendar with Obama and his wife. I don’t talk politics in the office, but it was a subtle, yet, elegant way to make my position known. Please keep them coming, as I really enjoy them. The hardest thing every month is deciding which one to pick, so often times I pick more than one.

I downloaded the yarn with the heart and I’m about to get one of leaves. Please keep up the great work.

I absolutely love the calendars and can’t wait for the first of each month. This time I took heart yarn for the home PC and the leaf for the work PC always with the calendar on the right. I’ve been downloading them since the beginning and my all time favorite was July 2007 Zulu. That one inspired me to go out and buy my own set of Zulu necklaces in the same colors. Most of the time I pick the yarn ones because your yarn is so beautiful. Thank you so much for doing these.

It was a very difficult decision this month. I picked the top one (I always take one with yarn!), but would have gladly used any of the 3 designs. Maybe I’ll come back and download another one to switch later in the month.
