I mean, I've seen what happens when you don't get it pinned back together.... yep - it heals separately! Looks wild, but I suspect it isn't quite as functional as a physical therapist would like. (uh, I used to analyze human bones from archaeological sites in the Southwest... that's where I've seen healed fractures like his!). Nice of you to get your husband surgery for christmas.
