Wow. May?!? How the heck did that happen? We did three calendars this month because I finally got some photography mojo and had too many shots from which to choose. Cynthia has decided starting this month to make one calendar per shot but moved the calendar part more towards the middle so PC & Mac users can use the same one. This saves her some time and since she does this for everyone for free….I’m just happy she’ll still do them for me/us! We always love to know which ones you like and take so please leave a comment telling us! It’s been quiet around here. I’ve been so swamped and have been a terrible blogger. But hey, we still get in here and do these for you guys cause we lurve you all!
Remember you just click on the image and it takes you to larger version you can right click and download. Have a great weekend y’all!

Please go and take the time to read about Gale Zucker’s Dream Assignment!
Voting ends today so hurry up and check it out!
Pretty Please?
Here are a few of my favs from this week.

Not making any excuses. I’m going to pretend I didn’t just notice I haven’t posted since my boy’s birthday. (thank you all for the sweet birthday wishes!) Dang. How does time slip by like that? Maybe having in-laws visit? How about I share some pretty pictures? I owe you a few Eye Candy Friday shots so here goes.

Also? The Limited Edition Eggplant Zumas are here and I still have a few in stock. I have already shipped out the 65 pre-ordered and there are 15 left. I am not sure if and when I can even get any more. I will tell you that it’s even prettier in person. I have gotten compliments everywhere I go with it already!

If you want one? Grab it now! I might get more in but I am not 100% sure. Stay tuned for new sock club information for the next round! I can’t believe it’s actually almost time for another year of sign ups. Hope you are well! Have a great Sunday.
GO EAGLES! (my dad made me root for them)

Wow….is it just me or did 2008 go by super fast? It’s kind of scary when they go by so quickly. Here’s a question for you. Can you all answer? Do you make resolutions? Tell me about it if you do. Do you have other traditions at the beginning of the new year? Have you ever kept any of them? I don’t make resolutions. I think I just continuously have things I’m working on and improving. I think resolutions are too easy to break. I just have never really done it! But tell me about you!
Here’s my last sunset shot from 2008. I was doing a shoot out by my house with a friend for something super top seekrit that you will be able to see in a few months. I’m very excited about it. All I can say is that it has to do with knitting. Look at this sunset though. Isn’t it gorgeous?

In other news I was able to get a few more Eggplant Zumas that should ship within the next few weeks. I just looked and there are 4 left. That’s with adding another 10 onto the 50 I already sold! I am so excited for them to arrive I just can’t wait.

On Monday I should also receive a huge shipment to restock all of the other Namaste stuff. I know I am sold out of all Buddy Cases but more will be here on Monday as well as all of the other bags. You guys wiped me out!
I wanted to also take this time to wish you each a Happy New Year. May 2009 be filled with lots and lots of love, peace and joy for each one of you! I thank you all for your continued support too.
*Calendars should be coming soon!*

I don’t normally talk about Politics in public. I know it’s one of those things you don’t talk about on a first date or with people you don’t know very well. I think by now we’re past our first date aren’t we? So I’m sure it doesn’t surprise you that I am most definitely in support of Barack Obama for president. This is not to open up a whole debate on my blog about politics. I just want to put it out there that I woke up today with more hope than I have had in a very long time of the future of my children. I watched him speak last night through tears. It made me so emotional to watch him speak and know that I was witnessing such a historical event. The one word that keeps repeating itself over and over in my head today is - ENOUGH! Even if you don’t support Barack Obama you can’t deny that it’s time for a change. I don’t know about you, but I’ve certainly had enough. I want more for my children.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and Labor Day.

Brought to you from my Italy trip in May.
There is no use trying; one can’t believe impossible things

~Alice
I dare say you haven’t had much practice. When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day.
Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.
~Queen
Happy Friday everyone. May you believe in the impossible. Seriously!
Cynthia had to go and change the name of her business to Green Couch Designs so no more Hula-Swag even though it’s the same chica doing it! And hello?! We got them done early! Thanks to a certain someone who emailed Cynthia early to remind her to get them done. Here you go my friends. As always, we really love your feedback and like to know which ones you take. It makes us happy to see so many people download them and maybe one day we’ll actually get our acts in gear and make real calendars! Click on the image to get the large size to download.

I’m in love with this new Namaste Bag. Have you seen the Newport Bag? And I’m so not a big purse girl as I’ve had this Haiku Bag as my purse for the last year. But there is something about this bag I just adore. Maybe it’s because I know that most stores haven’t received their shipments yet so I know I was one of the first which makes it extra-special-cool swag that I want it? I got one in charcoal and used it yesterday and got a ton of compliments. I mean look!
She looks so happy with her bag doesn’t she? I also received new shipments of all of the other bags in the Cali Collection in every color including the new Peacock color. Look how pretty this one is.
I almost kept that one too. It’s hard running a shop when you get cool stuff in all of the time. You just want it all! Not that I’m complaining! So go grab your bags and don’t hesitate because they will more than likely be gone pretty quickly. I only got 2 -4 in each color because I wanted to make sure I got each color in each bag. There’s other new stuff up in the shop and new GoKnit Pouches will be here within the next few days to replenish that stock.
What else? Well I’m off to San Fran next week to teach my dye class. I’m really excited for that. I also get to hang out with Stephen and Mike and possibly whip up a podcast while I’m there too! If you haven’t listened to them yet what in the world are you waiting for??? Um. It’s been super hot here and I’m melting. I felt like I about died yesterday when I went for a run. I’m so not kidding. See?
Time to go start packing up some orders. I know it’s 6:30am but this is when I usually start my day. At least I can do it in my pajamas right?
I hope you have a great weekend my friends!
Scout - Out!
