Please go to my stream and read about what is going on this website called Orkut. If you are a member of Flickr please favorite and comment on my friend Sarah’s picture. You can do the same with my image as the more shots we get into Explore the better. We need to get the word out about this and stop this from happening anymore. You all know how much I love and adore my children and this just infuriates me.
Also, pass it on. If you know anyone on Flickr who posts public photos of their children, their pictures may have been stolen just like all of the people I know on Flickr.

I don’t angry very often and after receiving an email today I’m furious. If you’ve read my blog for a while you’ve probably never seen me really go off. Today you’re going to see it. Do you know what I hate? Rumors. Especially when they are rumors about me. Even more so when it may affect my business. If you have read on a blog somewhere that I am going to stop dyeing yarn it is a complete and utter lie. Just because I’m not blogging a lot, it doesn’t mean I’m not busy running Scout’s Swag. I am busier than ever and continue to take yarn orders on almost a daily basis. I’m so busy I’m still not, and probably won’t ever do wholesale. I just don’t think I’ll ever have the time to do more than I’m doing now. So to anyone who is out there spreading lies about me? Stop it. Now. If you know these people spreading these lies? Feel free to break the news to them that I’m still here and will be for a long time. Got it? To those of you who support me and have my back? Lots of love to you.

T. broke his bike last week (a 3,000.00+ bike) - $500.00 deductable
T. brought his car in today to see what the horrible noise was - $750.00 for new brakes and other things that were broken.
My laptop just completely crashed, as in will turn on but won’t even go to a regular screen - $65.00 at least for the diagnostic testing….not to mention being without my laptop for maude knows how long.
I’m sitting here totally exhausted, almost in tears and typing on the ancient home computer. I just want you to know what’s up if you try to get in touch with me and I don’t get right back to you. I have no idea how long I’ll be without my laptop. It makes me sick to think about losing everything on that too. Thankfully, I started to use Gmail a few months ago so I won’t lose e-mail stuff.
Please send some patience and sleep so I keep from injuring the little and big people around me.
Oh wait! Even better. I just accidentally hit something that cleared out my whole Bloglines updated feeds notification thingamajiggy. Fantastic. So, if something really important happened today in your life and you posted about it? Will you come here and tell me about it since I won’t know? This is so much fun. Going to drop off the computer before something else happens….

That’s the name of this little happy accident. I mean, I know I can’t compete with some people and their 25 years of experience plus academic knowledge of how the human eye perceives and physiologically blends color. WTF?!? You’ll have to listen to the latest Lime & Violet podcast to understand what this is all about. Pippi and I were talking about this last night and we both agree….. Karma’s a bitch yo! Go listen to the podcast. I’ll wait. Then come back and finish reading this post.
Okay. Back? Aren’t they funny?! So I found it completely ironic that while I was dyeing this skein of Snakes on a Skein I accidentally got some violet on the lime. I was upset because it meant I had to redo the skein for my customer and didn’t know how I’d fix it. I finally had some time yesterday to play with it. I decided to add black to it and I really love how it came out. It made me totally laugh when I thought about that horribly mean woman mentioned on the podcast who rips on pretty much all other hand painted artistes and how we all suck because we haven’t done this for 25 years like her. Gee, her warm and fuzzies really make me want to buy yarn from her…. um….. not.
This skein has the Lime & Violet Colors plus the happy accident black. It has 490 yards of 100% Superwash Merino. Even though there is additional yardage I’ll still sell it for $25.00 plus shipping because I believe this skein holds magical powers. I promise it will bring you an unbelievable amount of good karma. And, how can you pass up a skein of yarn called Karma’s a Bitch? If you want it, just leave a comment.
I have a headache and am tired. Can you tell? Oh, and Superboy woke us up at 4:30am because he “heard it raining”. Don’t irritate me when I’m cranky or all of my yarn will have names like this. I just don’t understand people sometimes. If you can’t say something nice? Right? And this concludes this post also titled, “How to piss off Scout.”

WTF? The Animal Hospital called and I answered it thinking they had found a home for Chulo. Wrong. This woman told me that the Vet refuse to adopt out a dog that had lunged at a person. Um. Hello? Then why did someone who works there tell me to BRING him there? I called for advice and it was totally offered up to me to bring him there so they could adopt him out to a family. Then 3 days later I’m told to either come get him or sign euthanasia papers??? What the hell is that about! I gave her a piece of my mind and told her that they need to make sure and teach the front desk people about their rules so they don’t allow something like this to happen again. This has made this situation even worse because after a number of phone calls my only option was to call the Humane Society and ask them to go pick him up. The no kill shelters are full. Lovely.
After spending a few hours on the phone with multiple medical people it was decided that I didn’t need to go to the ER. Our family friend who is a General Practitioner finally got back to me just as I had decided to have Carole take me to the ER. I’m glad I got to talk with her because I trust her 150% and she absolutely did not think I needed to go and have any further medical attention. That was all I needed to hear. So thank you all. I appreciate your thoughts. I think I’ll head to bed here in a bit and maybe when I wake up it’ll feel a lot better. I sure hope it doesn’t take the 3-5 WEEKS to heal like my friend said. That, will surely make this mama one cranky mama. Five-Aside soccer starts in a few weeks too and I had better be ready to play!

I just got home from work and can’t believe there is an Orchid left!

In leg news? Everyone who has seen me today is insisting I go to Urgent Care to make sure I don’t throw a blood clot. Nothing like scaring me by telling me I might throw a flipping blood clot! I’m waiting for a good friend of ours to call, who’s a Dr., to see what she thinks. I really hope it’s just a big ole bruise and nothing else. But it still hurts a lot and it’s starting to not look so great with all of the colors coming out all over my leg. The last thing I want to do while T. is away is have to go sit at Urgent Care for Maude knows how long to only then have to go to the Hospital to have an ultrasound done. And the kids will just stay at home and take care of themselves right? This mama ain’t taking both of my kids into the most germ infested place on the planet. No thanks. Alrighty then. I guess I’ll stop this lovely stream of consciousness. Send me some anti-blood-clot vibes will yah?
They are about to go to their new homes. I re-mixed some greens for this batch of Appletini and damn if they aren’t even prettier than the last batch. I like the darker green color in it. I am getting quite a bit of yarn today to update the shop by Friday. If anyone wants a custom job please let me know so I can take some yarn out for that. Otherwise, I’m going to be dyeing fool to get more up in the shop. All of the yarn I’m getting is superwash so the prices will be a bit more. But oh, how it’s worth it.
And my damn Thunderbird still isn’t working. However, I think I have Gmail set up to receive all of my mail for now. For some reason it’s not getting my comments from here though. Notice how many times I’m saying damn? DAMN DAMN DAMN! Notice the new category at the top? *Scout is Pissed*. Ha. I’m so funny.
I have had the worst day. It started off great with dyeing two skeins of Appletini for a custom order and then I went to my soccer game. When I came home I tried to open up my e-mail and it wouldn’t work at ALL. I use Moxilla Thunderbird and it’s completely jacked up. I’ve tried everything I know how to do to fix it but I can’t. If I owe you an e-mail please re-send it. I’m having to use the horrible Comcast online program for now and I’m going to lose my shit if I have to use it much longer than a few hours because it’s horrible.
Anyone out there have any idea how to fix something like this? The problem is that it won’t load my inbox. It’s so strange. I even downloaded the newest version and that didn’t do anything. Is this what happend when you get a worm or something in your e-mail? I have really good protection on this computer so I can’t imagine how that could happen.
I’m not good with things like not being able to get my e-mail. I also have hundreds of saved e-mails in different folders on there too. Someone please help me before I throw my computer out of the window.
